The family of a corp member from Taraba State who was killed while serving in Adamawa has called on the National Youth Service Corps to ensure that the perpetrators of the dastardly act are found, and made to face the wrath of the law.
The slain corp member, Samaila Awudu has been buried in Gindin Dorowa , Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State.
Twenty eight (28) year old Samailla Awudu, an indigene of Taraba State was on the one year mandatory service to the country under the National Youth Service Corps in Yola Adamawa State, when his life was cut short on August 14th in a night attack on his room, by unknown assailants.
Family members say, he was hacked with a machete and left to die, and from the account of neighbours in the Corp member’s Lodge where he lived, they believe that his life was the target of the assailants.

While mourning their loss, the family of late Samaila Awudu wants the National Youth Service Corps, and the relevant authorities to expedite action to bring his killers to book, as he was on the line of duty serving the nation when the incident occurred.
The remains of late Samaila Awudu was buried in his hometown, Gindin Dorowa, in Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State.
Late Awudu studied Biochemistry in the Federal University Wukari, and the Elkami College of Islamic Theology Yola, in Adamawa State was his Place of Primary Assignment before his murder.
