Following the recent spate of killings in parts of the country the Senator representing Imo west constituency, Rochas Okorocha has called for the constitutional empowerment of Traditional Rulers as chief security officers.
Okorocha who made the call in Makurdi the Benue State capital also described the recent killings in the northern parts of the country as an insult to mankind.

Addressing newsmen in Makurdi the state capital Senator Okorocha expressed deep concern over the recent security situation in the country with particular reference to the killings in Borno and Nassarawa State and called for a collective approach in resolving the menace.
He equally spoke on the issue of zoning for the 2023 presidential election to the east and urged Nigerians to adopt the sports style of rotating elective positions.
