Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma says the sit-at-home order declared by the Indigenous People of Biafra in South-East Nigeria is beyond what the State Governments can handle.
The Governor was speaking to State House correspondents after his meeting with President Bola Tinubu. He explained that his visit was to secure an appointment ahead of the visit of South-East leaders over the rising insecurity in the region.
South-East Governors, lawmakers and leaders of the Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, had on Monday held an emergency meeting in Abuja where they resolved to meet President Tinubu over the rising insecurity in their region.
