The sit-at-home order by the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in the South East region of Nigeria on Tuesday hits harder in Enugu State with residents complying to the order.
Major streets in Enugu metropolis were completely deserted without the usual heavy vehicular movement.
All banks, markets and other public offices were shutdown.

Residents most of who were too afraid remained indoors; trying to observe the situation despite assurances from State security forces asking them to go about their duties.
Speaking to AIT, some residents lamented the situation; describing the “sit-at-home as a huge economic waste for the Southeast region.
