The President of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria, Tommy Etim-Okon Contrary to media reports, no affected civil servant is expected to pay any money to undergo verification in the window created by the head of civil service of the federation.
Etim-Okon Says the union will ensure its intervention to halt salaries of 17, 000 civil servants by the Intergrated payroll and personnel information system, IPPIS office Of the Accountant General’s office is not compromised.
Etim-Okon Says the situation is more disturbing because, the IPPIS office had secretly included names of aides to former ministers and other political office holders since 2015.

The Association of Senior Civil Servants president encourages civil servants to always approach the appropriate authorities if they feel their rights have been trampled upon.
