Jack Dorsey resigns as Twitter CEO

The Chief Executive Officer of Twitter Jack Dorsey has announced his resignation.

In a terse statement on his verified handle, Dorsey who co-founded the website in 2006 tweeted “I resigned from Twitter.”

The microblogging platform has been under ban in Nigeria since June 2020 following the decision of Twitter to take down a tweet by the Nigerian
President Muhammadu Buhari.
