Elaine Thompson Heray has broken Florence Grifitth Joyner’s 33 year-old record to lead a Jamaican sweep of the women’s 100m at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games.
Thompson Heray, returned in 10.61 seconds to claim gold beating 34-year old, compatriot, Shelly Ann Praser Pryce who was chasing a record third gold medal in the event to second while Shericka Jackson got the bronze medal in 10.76 seconds.

The growth hormone is a non-specified substance on the 2021 world anti-doping agency, WADA prohibited list.
