Local branch of the Joint Health Sector Union, JOHESU, at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital has suspended its ongoing indefinite strike.
The Chapter Chairman, Olutunde Oluwawumi, announced this during an emergency congress of the Union in Ilorin the State capital.

He said the decision of the Union to suspend the industrial action is based on the intervention of some undisclosed prominent Nigerians.
