Just In: Bandits kill four persons, injure five soldiers in Zamfara State

At least four persons including a district head, Umaru Dan- Bawan Allah are said to have been killed when banditry terrorists attacked Gada community in Bundugu Local Government Area of Zamfara State, North-West Nigeria in the early hours of Wednesday.

Eyewitnesses told ait.live that five soldiers sustained injuries while in a gun duel with the bandits and were rushed to the Federal Medical Centre in the state capital, Gusau for medical attention. The sources say one of the injured soldiers with critical injury was however moved to Abuja, the nation’s capital.

According to the sources, the bandits stormed Gada community at about 1am on Wednesday and started shooting sporadically which resulted in the killing of four persons.

The terrorist bandits also set ablaze the house of the District Head and other valuables in the community.

As at the time of this report, members of the community were preparing to carry out the burial of the four persons killed by the banditry terrorists.

This attack is coming less four days after the bandits invaded several communities in Gusau Local Government killing eight and abducted unspecified number of persons who are mostly women and children.
