Two suspected bandits and cattle rustlers have been apprehended by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Zamfara State Command while trying to run away from the State.
The Public Relations officer of the NSCDC Zamfara State command Ikor Uche made this known while parading the suspects before journalists in Gusau, the Zamfara capital capital on behalf of the State Commandant, Akushie Sparks.
The Two suspected bandits are; one Hussaini Altine, age 40, who was arrested on the 27th of December as he was trying to escape to Taraba State while Tukur Halilu age 27, was arrested as he was also trying to escape to Niger State.
Hussaini Altine who has been at large, was arrested along with his elder brother, Abubakar Altine at the Zamfara State mass transit park, in Gusau Metropolis.
The corps said, upon interrogation Husaini Altine confessed to the crime of banditry and kidnapping and Tukur Halilu on cattle rustling and banditry related activities in Zamfara State.

Hussaini Altine hails from Agama lafiya village, Rijiya district of Gusau and Tukur Halilu from Gabaro village of Nahuche District of Bungudu Local Government Areas of the State.
The corps said, the duo will be arraigned in court immediately after it concludes investigations.
The State commandant of the corps, Akushie Spark said the corps will do all it can to complement the tireless efforts of the Governor of Zamfara State Bello Mohammed in the fight against insecurity in the state.
