The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN has revoked the licence of Heritage Bank with immediate effect.
It is expected that the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation, NDIC will take over the bank and pay depositors their money.
NDIC recently raised the maximum amount to pay depositors in such liquidated entities from N500,000 to N5 million.
