The Federal High Court sitting in Gombe has ordered the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to conduct a fresh governorship primary within 30 days between Professor Isa Pantami and Khamisu Mailantarki.
Justice Amina Aliyu Mohammed also ordered Professor Pantami to stop parading himself as the PDP governorship candidate in Gombe State.
The ruling followed a suit challenging the primary election that produced Pantami as the party’s candidate for the 2027 governorship election.
