Four policemen were killed on Friday night when gunmen attacked the Agwa Divisional Police Station in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State, South-East Nigeria.
Part of the station and vehicles, including the one belonging to the Divisional Police Officer were burnt by the attackers.

The gunmen also invaded the house of a resident identified as Ejike, shot him dead and shot his wife before fleeing.
The development has caused panic in the area as residents express shock over the development. Sources in the community who do not want to be mentioned disclosed that the attackers struck between 10pm and 11pm in three vehicles.
According to the sources, the gunmen came in a tipper vehicle and two sienna cars and invaded the police station.
AIT.live gathered that the police have drafted more officers and men to the area after the deadly attack. The State Police Public Relations Officer, Micheal Abattam, did not however take his calls or respond to messages sent to his mobile lines as of the time of filing this report.
