The trial of suspects linked to the March 29 killings in Angwan Rukuba community of Jos North LGA of Plateau State has commenced at the Jos High Court.
Proceedings began 9am Thursday morning. The first case called was that of Adamu Isa Alhassan, who is facing additional charges separate from the joint charges.
However, his plea could not be taken as the defendant requested more time to secure legal representation.
The court, presided over by Justice Togven, adjourned the case to April 30 to allow the accused obtain counsel.
