Former federal lawmaker, Senator Abubakar Sodangi who successfully chaired the recent re-election campaign of Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule is dead.
The three-term senator who represented Nasarawa West from 1999-2011, died in the early hours of Monday, March 11, 2024 at the age of 70 years following a brief illness and had been diabetic.
The former senator was a founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP before moving to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC where he served as Chairman of the Campaign Council for the 2023 re-election of Governor Abdullahi Sule.

Senator Sodangi was also the traditional title holder of Dan-malikin Nasarawa.
The remains of the former federal legislator would be buried in Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State on Monday, March 11.
