Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening primary healthcare as a foundation for effective service delivery.
He stated this at the inauguration of a 100-bed capacity hospital in Zaria.
The newly inaugurated Renewed Hope Specialist Hospital is expected to improve access to healthcare services for residents of Zaria and surrounding communities.

The facility, initiated by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, and supervised by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals, is designed to reduce referral time and ease pressure on existing health facilities.
Tajudeen Abbas assured that the National Assembly will continue to strengthen oversight to ensure projects are completed and effectively utilised.
Governor Uba Sani emphasised that efforts are ongoing to expand access to quality healthcare, noting that no resident should be left behind.
He added that two additional primary healthcare centres in Babandodo and Chikaji, in Zaria and Sabon Gari Local Government Areas, will become operational within two weeks.
