Voters in Kaduna have applauded the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the timely commencement of the Rerun and Bye-Election for the State Assembly and House of Representatives.
The voters also commended security operatives for ensuring a peaceful atmosphere during the election.

However, when voters started arriving, waiting for voting to begin, things got chaotic, and security operatives had to intervene by asking all voters to leave the premises, thereby delaying accreditation and voting.
Once normalcy was restored, voters were asked to go in and cast their votes.
In Barnawa, at Government Girls Secondary School, unit 005, voting was conducted under a serene atmosphere amidst heavy security presence.
However, there were alleged issues of vote-buying.
At unit 022 at Ungwan Yelwa Primary School in Kaduna South, an INEC official explained that there was no issue with the BVAS accreditation machine.
The voters said they have cast their votes but remain hopeful that the outcome will reflect their choice.
