Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State in Northwest part of Nigeria has commended security agencies for safeguarding Corps members in Kaduna, and emphasised the importance of skill acquisition during the service year.
Governor Sani who was represented by the Commissioner of Human Services and Social Development, Rabi Salisu, encouraged youths to prioritise skills acquisition training for self-reliance post-service years.
The Governor offered this advice at the closing ceremony for the National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC), 2023 Batch C Stream 1 Orientation Course in Kaduna.

The State NYSC Coordinator, Hassan Taura, urged youths to be responsible citizens, emphasising the importance of mutual support, and respect for their host community, and in contributing to national development.
Following the end of orientation programme, Corps members are expected to report to their places of primary assignment, a commitment that spans one year.
