Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, Most Reverend Ignatius Kaigama, has called on Nigerians to embrace selfless service and contribute their quota to the development of the country, irrespective of the challenges confronting the nation.
The Archbishop made the call in Abuja at an event centered on purpose, gratitude and service, where he also encouraged young Nigerians to harness their literary talents and modern communication platforms to promote positive change.
In an era where public discourse is often dominated by criticism, disappointment and the challenges confronting the nation, the event offered a different message; purpose, gratitude and service.
For Nigeria, the message of gratitude was particularly emphasised with a call on citizens not to lose the ability to recognise and applaud genuine efforts and achievements despite the country’s difficulties.

The message was a strong reminder that nation-building is not the responsibility of government alone.
