Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has reconstituted his State Executive Council with the swearing-in of six new commissioners, following the political realignment that trailed his defection to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The Kano State Executive Council has received fresh members to fill vacancies created by the resignation of some former cabinet members who choose not to defect with the Governor.
Addressing the newly appointed officials, Governor Yusuf described their appointments as a call to greater responsibility, urging them to close ranks, work as a team and demonstrate commitment to the delivery of democratic dividends to the people of Kano State.
The Governor also swears in 19 Permanent Secretaries and some Special Advisers, charging the newly appointed officials to make service delivery, accountability and effective governance their top priorities.
