Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf has expressed shock at the level of abandoned projects inherited from the immediate past administration of Abdullahi Ganduje describing it as the height of economic waste and sabotage.
Governor Yusuf who was on a visit to the State College of Nursing Madobi, expressed surprise that no infrastructural project was added to the school after it was handed over to the administration of Ganduje by former Governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
Infrastructure
in the College was erected between 2011 and 2015 when the now Governor, Abba Yusuf was the State Commissioner for Works and Housing under the administration of then Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
Eight years down the line, Abba Yusuf visits the College of Nursing Madobi, now as Governor, to his dismay and disappointment that no single infrastructure has been added to what was inherited by the immediate past administration from Kwankwanso.
Governor Abba Yusuf therefore orders the immediate completion of abandoned projects in the College in the presence of the visibly elated students.
State Commissioner for Health told journalists during the visit that plans have been concluded to convert the College to a degree awarding institution to produce the manpower that will carter for the ever-increasing demand across the state’s medical sector
