Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf wants beneficiaries of his administration’s foreign scholarship programme to project the state and Nigeria in good light in their conducts as they proceed for their postgraduate studies overseas.
Governor Yusuf was speaking at an event to send off postgraduate scholars of one thousand and one students billed for their Masters Degree programmes in different parts of the world
On ground at the occasion was a former governor of Kano State and Presidential Candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, in the 2023 election, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, who introduced the scheme in 2011.

The beneficiaries commended Governor Yusuf for his kind gesture saying the move is a dream come true for them
The flag off attracted traditional rulers, military and paramilitary personnel, members of the ruling NNPP in Kano state and beyond, as well as members of their families
