The government of Kano State says it fully supports the current review of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 as amended.
State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, said this at the Public Hearing of the Review Committee, from the House of Representatives in Kano for citizens in Kaduna, Jigawa, Kano, and Katsina States.
The Governor, who declared the public hearing opened, said that the state would make its contributions on 17 key areas known in due course, through the Secretary to the State Government.

The Committee Chairman and leader of the House of Representatives, Alhassan Doguwa, assured Nigerians that his committee would work hard to gather the yearnings and aspirations of the public for submission to the larger House.
The public hearing provided opportunity for the citizens to bring forward, all the issues that either have manifested or may manifest in future.
