Hassan Saidu and Halimat Danladi on this day, walked about five kilometers to Malaka village to get water before officials of the Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid landscapes arrived their community to open the borehole for public use after its completion
Both Hassan and Halimat are happy that they may not need to walk several miles in search of water.
The project coordinator for ACReSAL, Dahiru Hashim who represents Kano state Governor Abba Yusuf at the official opening is excited that the over forty years suffering is coming to an end
The ACReSAL Boss wants the community to take ownership of the project, pledging more efforts by the government, just as residents express gratitude to the Governor
