The Coalition of Civil Society Organizations in Katsina State are calling for the immediate review and assessment of the containment order.
This is as a result of the renewed attacks and methods devised by the bandits to launch attacks in the 13 frontline Local Government Areas.
In a statement by the Chairman of the Coalition, Abdulrahman Abdullahi, the Security Containment Order by the government is temporary and is not meant to last forever.
According to Abdullahi, the order is gradually fading away, with the bandits finding ways of circumventing its contents, by using walkie talkie to communicate among themselves.
He added that the bandits also took advantage of the telecommunications shutdown to attack people since there is no way the people can call for help as well as connive with other people to get supplies of fuel.
The Coalition also noted the sufferings by the populace residing in the towns who depend on firewood, as a result of the rising costs of gas for cooking.
Abdullahi, therefore, said, following complaints by the people in the affected areas, even with appreciable successes, there is the need for government to assess the effectiveness of the security containment order.

Recall that recently, Governor Aminu Masari had reviewed the order, saying bandits have killed 213 persons and kidnapped 676 others across the frontline local government areas of the state, between July and October 2021.
Masari who also said 207 victims were released during the 4 months under review, described the efforts to secure and bring back peace to the state as a work in progress.
He said the government is considering reviewing and putting more measures in place.
