7,400 small farmers associations in Kebbi state have benefitted from the Federal Government agricultural programme, NG-Cares to the tune of 2.4 billion Naira.
State Commissioner for Agriculture, Maigari Dakingari who made this public during a fertilizer distribution event organised by the Kebbi State Agricultural and Rural Development Agency said fertilizer distributed to 7,400 farmers’ associations in the state is a stimulus, to cushion the effects of Covid-19, and help increase food security in the state and the nation at large.
Aside fertilizer, other inputs were distributed to the farmers.
