The Kebbi State National Electoral Commissioner, NEC, Professor Muhammad Sani and his Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC, Ahmad Mahmud, have urged the State Governor-elect, Nasiru Idris to exploit the agricultural potential in the state to build a vibrant economy.
The call by the two electoral umpires was at the ceremony of the issuance of Certificates of Return to the Governor-elect, his Deputy and 10 remaining Members of the State House of Assembly, who participated in the Saturday April 15 Supplementary Election.
Muhammad Sani described the people of Kebbi State as peaceful, who gave the commission the enabling environment to conduct the election peacefully.

The Governor-elect, Nasiru Idris, said his administration will place more emphasis on agriculture, human empowerment, as well as the execution of worthy projects and programmes in the state.
