The newly inaugurated executive of the Police Community Relations Committee in Kebbi State, under the leadership of Saratu Muhammad Mere, says it will soon come up with ways to improve the intelligence gathering of the police in the state.
Saratu Mere said this when the committee paid a courtesy visit to the Kebbi State Commissioner of Police, CP Chris Aimionowane.
She said this will be achieved through the introduction of deliberate programmes which will bring the police much closer to the communities and people they serve, adding that the committee will also create platforms for regular meetings and dialogue between the police and members of the public alongside the creation of PCRC Special Marshals.
