Kebbi State Governor Flags Off Youth Transformation Programme By HYPPADEC

Kebbi State Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has flagged off a programme initiated by the Hydropower Power Producing Area Development Commission, HYPPADEC, in Kebbi State.

Governor Bagudu said the programme is deliberately targeting an important section of society.

He extolled the several life-saving interventions of the commission, aimed at uplifting the living standard of the people.

The Director of Community and Rural Development of the Commission, Dr Mahmud Umar, explained that HYPPADEC wants to reduce the number of unemployed youths through the Programme adding that 36 trade areas have been identified, and a curriculum manual already developed by HYPPADEC.

He charged the participants to take the programme seriously in order to achieve the desired objectives.
