The petition filed by the All Progressives Congress, APC candidate for Kebbi North Senatorial District, Dr Hussaini Kangiwa, against the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate, Senator Yahaya Abdullahi has been dismissed for lack of merit, inability to provide evidence on alleged overvoting, failure to prove non-use of the BVAS machine, and contradicting evidence by the petitioner
Similarly, the tribunal headed by Justice Margaret Okpara, also dismissed the petition filed by the PDP candidate of Arewa Dandi Federal Constituency, Abdullahi Umar Kamba, challenging the victory of APC candidate Garba Rabi’u Kamba, on the grounds of tendering invalid documents as evidence, inability to present evidence before the tribunal, and lack of merit.
