The kidnapped Labour Party, LP Governorship candidate during 2021 Anambra State election, Obiora Agbasimalo is still missing.
His wife, Eucharia Agbasimalo cries for help again as she alleges undue VIP treatment to two principal suspects arrested in connection with her missing husband.
In her open letter to the Nnewi Custodial Centre in Anambra state, she alleged that the two suspects, Chukwudi Odimegwu and Maxwell Nwokolo who were arrested in connection with the kidnap of her husband, Obiorah Agbasimalo, currently in detention are always online on the social media.
She said “While I was testifying before the court as 1st Prosecution Witness, PW1, I observed that the two suspects were always boasting that they had the backing of “powers that be” and that they would be released without any hassle.”
Eucharia however appealed to the authorities to take necessary actions, and ensure that officials of the custodial centre are not being compromised.
The two suspects were members of Obiora Agbasimalo’s campaign team when he was kidnapped, and they are currently standing trial at Ihiala High Court sitting in Nnewi.
