The Nigeria Guild of Editors, (NGE) has scored Kogi State Government high on health, education and infrastructural development.
The guild’s executive gave the pass mark on Saturday during a media tour of the projects executed by both the immediate past and present administrations in Kogi State.
Executives of the Nigeria Guild of Editors led by its President, Eze Anaba, were at the Muhammadu Buhari Square Lokoja, GYB model Secondary School Adankolo, historic Ganaja flyover, Confluence University of Science and Technology CUSTECH Osara and reference hospital Okene to see for themselves the achievement of the Kogi State Government in the delivery of the dividends of democracy to the people of Kogi State.
At the Confluence University of Science and Technology, (CUSTECH) Osara, the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Abdulrahman Asipita, Salawu, told the visitors that four new programmes will be started in the institution in 2024.
The Kogi State Commissioner for health, Dr Abdlulazeez Adam Adeiza, alongside the Chief Medical Director of reference hospital Okene, Prof Solomon Avidime, also briefed the NGE executives of the efforts of the Kogi Government to improve the health services in the State.
The Commissioner for information and Communication, Kingsley Fanwo, led the august visitors to some of the State Government’s projects.
