Kogi state Governor, Yahaya Bello, has commissioned a medical and safety facility as well as fire fighting trucks, Ambulances and SUV cars for both the legislative and judiciary arm of the state government
Governor Bello said this during the commissioning at the Muhammadu Buhari Civic centre, Lokoja, in Kogi state, North Central Nigeria, that the gesture was in fulfillment of his administration’s promise.
Governor Bello said the commissioning of the medical and safety infrastructure, including vehicles for the other two arms of government is aimed at boosting morale and enhancing efficiency on the job.
Both the speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Aliu Yusuf, and the Chief Judge of Kogi State, Justice Josiah Majebi,
commended the governor for the implementation of a comprehensive welfare programme for the legislative and Judiciary arms of government.
Governor Yahaya Bello thanked the people of the state for the privilege to serve them and assured them that his successor, the Gov-elect, Ahmed Usman Ododo, will run a people centered government.
