The Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission, HYPPADEC has identified about three thousand homes in twenty eight thousand communities affected by floods in Kogi State.

This revelation was made by the Commission while presenting the report of the just concluded Needs Assessment of flood prone communities to stakeholders of affected communities in Lokoja, Kogi State.
