Kogi Gov. gives security agencies, residents thumbs up

Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has commended the security agencies and people of the state for their collaborative efforts in making the state governable for him in the last six years.

Governor Bello, who was speaking with journalists after observing the Eid-el Kabir prayers on Tuesday at Agasa in Okene local government said more gains will be made in the area of security if citizens continue to volunteer information.

With several states unable to hold public Eid prayers, following security threats in some parts of the country, Governor Bello gave thumbs up to the security agencies in the state.

He also called for increased vigilance from citizens and residents against ‘external forces’ that may be out to undermine his administration’s efforts.

Governor Bello spent over one-hour visiting various families in his Agasa village, a practice locals say he has always carried out since becoming governor.
