The newly posted Commissioner of Police, CP Kolo Yusuf has assumed duty as the 32nd Commissioner of Police in Zamfara State.
CP Yusuf who assumed duty on Monday, 29th August, assured residents of the state of unalloyed commitment to the protection of the lives and property of the citizens.
In a statement by the Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, Superintendent Mohammed Shehu said, the Commissioner of Police is seeking the support and collaboration of the people to tackle crime and criminality in the state.

He warned all criminal elements to renounce their activities or face dire consequences.
CP Kolo Yusuf was born in 1968 in Majiko Village of Edati Local Government Area of Niger State.
He holds a Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of Abuja, as well as a Masters’s Degree in Crime Management and Prevention from the Bayero University Kano.
He also has a Doctorate in International Relations.
