The organised labour in Delta State, joined their parent body in the protest against the Federal Government’s inability to meet up with the agreements reached in October last year.
They were led by the Second Chairman, Ziko Okwudili.
The workers, in the presence of security operatives, marched through major streets of Asaba the state capital and visited the Government House to bring their protest to the attention of the Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, the challenges they were facing.
They wanted the state government to also come to their aid.
The Secretary to the State Government, Kingsley Emu, received the protesting workers and promised to channel their grievances to the appropriate quarters.
