The Labour Party says the Proposed Stakeholders meeting by the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC is illegal and that the outcome would not be accepted.
A statement by the national publicity secretary of the party, Obiora Ifoh notes that such meeting is not backed by law, and called on its members to disregard the parley.
Labour party is also calling on the law enforcement agencies to urgently stop the gathering which it says could degenerate to public nuisance.

The political commission of the Nigeria Labour Congress NLC had sent an invite it tilted : “all inclusive and expensive NLC/TUC/LABOUR PARTY/Obedient movement stakeholders meeting” to hold in Abuja on Monday.
The action of the nigeria labour Congress followed the last convention of the labour party in Anambra state, which the union described as illegal.
