The leadership of the Labour Party, (LP), says a supplementary Presidential Campaign Council list will soon be released to complement the already unveiled members of the campaign council.
Chairman of the party, Julius Abure who made this known at the end of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) meeting explained that the decision was taken to accommodate some persons mistakenly omitted from the list of persons inaugurated yesterday in Abuja.

Abure who declined to respond to questions about his absence at the party’s Presidential Campaign Council inauguration told journalists that the National Working Committee has endorsed the Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Council as unveiled.
He however faulted the inclusion of NCFront, President of the Nigeria Labour Congress and his Trade Union Congress counterpart in the list saying it was an error that will be corrected.
The party called on the Independent National Electoral Commission not to allow itself to be intimidated by the Federal government to compromise the 2023 general elections citing media reports attempts to deactivate the BIVAS machine.
The party condemned attacks on its members and supporters during peaceful solidarity matches across the country.
