Two of the three Labour Party, LP Deputy National Chairmen and 37 Chapter Chairmen including that of the Federal Capital Territory have called on aggrieved members to withdraw their cases in court and follow the right channel to resolve all grievances.
The party officials said this in a communique read after their meeting at the LP National Secretariat in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
Their meeting was to review the ongoing crisis in the party and the leaders resolved that a National Working Committee meeting should be convened without delay.
The leaders said those who went to court to challenge some national officers violated the party’s constitution by taken internal matters to court without exhausting all available channels of dispute resolution.

The Obedient Support Groups and youths of the party were also at the party secretariat in solidarity with the embattled officers and condemned the purported meeting of some members of the party led by Deputy National Chairman, Bashiru Apapa who has reportedly been appointed the Acting National Chairman.
The youths called on those plotting to distabilse the party to have a rethink.
