The Labour Party, LP has raised alarm over what it describes as increasing attacks on its members, candidates and supporters across the country.

LP National Chairman, Julius Abure, said this when religious bodies under the interfaith organisation visited him and members of the party at the National Secretariat in Abuja the nation’s capital.

Abure is therefore appealing to Nigerians for protection against attacks on the party members, candidates and supporters across the country.

The interfaith group promised its support for the Peter Obi-Datti Ahmed presidential ticket, saying it will continue to resist Muslim-Muslim or Christian-Christian ticket.

The party also assured the group of its preparedness to deliver quality leadership to Nigerians if given the opportunity in 2023.
