Labour Party candidate for the 2023 presidential election Peter Obi says the crisis in Nigeria’s education system is an attack on the nation’s productivity.
The presidential hopeful says stabilising and upgrading tertiary education will be among his priorities if he becomes Nigeria’s next.
Obi, who made the promise to his supporters at a rally in Jalingo, the Taraba State Capital, said he was unhappy with the prolonged ASSU strike which he said rendered the majority of the country’s youth redundant and plunged them into social vices.
