Justice Oyindamola Ogala said the court believes the defendant wrote a confessional statement and his attempt to retract it was an afterthought to exonerate himself from the act.
Delivering her judgement, Ogala said that after careful consideration of the facts in the case, she finds Ehizojie guilty of the two count charge against him, adding that the sentence of the court upon the defendant is that he be hanged by the neck till he is dead.
Ogala further stated that there was no doubt that the defendant was present at the scene of the crime as confirmed by him during his evidence in chief and according to the exhibits before the court.
According to Ogala, the accused in his confessional statement said he was shocked to learn about the death of his boss and the manager even though he was privy to the affairs of the hotel.
Ogala also said the defendant had in his confessional statement admitted that Olusoga treated her workers badly and they had planned to tie her up and collect her money.
