Lagos State Government says 371 miscreants who pleaded for assistance to relocate to their various states due to the hardship they are facing in Lagos have been sent to their states.
This is coming on the backdrop of the allegation that the Lagos State Government over the weekend deported some Osun State indigenes in a questionable manner.
In a Press Release, the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotosho, said 450 miscreants were arrested at the weekend under the Dolphin Estate Bridge, where 371 of them sought assistance to relocate to their states, while 79 had been absorbed into some government facilities for rehabilitation, after showing signs of being unwell.
Omotosho said the ceaseless influx of miscreants and destitute into Lagos streets is unacceptable to the state government, and has raised fears of insecurity of life and property.
