The Allied People’s Movement (APM) Governorship primary in Lagos state has produced Laja Adeoye as the consensus candidate to fly the party’s flag at the 2027 General Election.
Adeoye, who was issued with his certificate of returns after the affirmation exercise, promised to present a better package for the people of Lagos state if elected into office.
From the 20 local government areas of the state, party members converged at Yaba, where they elected their Governorship Candidate via a voice vote in the presence of INEC officials who watched the exercise closely.

According to Adeoye, the die is now cast for a new dawn for the people of Lagos after the 2027 Governorship election where he reeled out his manifesto on infrastructure development addressing security challenges, health care issues, education among others to positively impact on the people in the state.
For him, Lagosians deserve the best as a megacity with the highest internally generated revenue (IGR) in the country.
The exercise also saw other party candidates contesting various positions filing out to receive their certificates of return after their primaries at the various wards and Constituencies.
