Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to upholding the lofty dreams of the state’s founding fathers.
The Governor made this statement on Tuesday during a low-key event at Okpara Square, in the state capital, organised to mark the 33rd anniversary of the creation of Enugu State.
Represented by his Deputy, Ifeanyi Ossai, Governor Mbah noted that while Enugu State may officially be 33 years old, its rich history stretches much further back.
He pledged to honour the enduring legacy of the founding fathers through bold actions aimed at fostering a new socio-economic order that aligns with the original vision for the state.
Reflecting on the journey so far, some of the elder statesmen at the event said that there is much to celebrate.
