The Labour Party has terminated the appointment of some aides to the national chairman, Julius Abure.
The National Chairman of the Labour Party, Julius Abure approved the termination after the Supreme Court judgment that affirmed the election of President Bola Tinubu.
The Thursday verdict ended the legal battle and the 2023 presidential election process.

In the termination letter signed by the National Secretary of the labour Party, Umar Farouk, all appointments related to the 2023 campaigns have been formally dissolved.
The affected appointees include:
- Mandela Ukegbu,
Chairman, Labour Party Presidential Campaign Committee on Special Duties - Balami Isaac David
Senior Special Assistant on Presidential Campaign, Fund Raising and Grassroots mobilization - Didacus Joe-Adigwe
Senior Special Adviser on Strategy, Protocol and International Relations - Princess Ajibola, Senior Special Assistant on Special Duties and Mobilization
- Isaac Imasuagbon,
Senior Special Assistant on ICT
The National Chairman wishes them well in their future engagements.
He also warned Ukegbu who has continued to parade himself to the public claiming to be an aide to the National Chairman, to desist from doing so henceforth.
