Thirteen abducted Students of the Federal University Gusau in Zamfara State and 3 workers have regained their freedom from kidnappers who forcefully took them away last Friday from the Sabon Gida community of Bugundu Local Government Area of Zamfara State, Northwest Nigeria.
The Management of the Federal University Gusau, confirmed the release via its official X handle, formerly known as Twitter. The University, gave the breakdown of 13 abducted students and three labourers.
According to the source, in a remarkable turn of events, 16 individuals, 13 students, and three labourers have regained their freedom, thanks to the swift and courageous efforts of the military.

It would be recalled that unspecified female students of the Federal University, Gusau, were abducted in the early hours of Friday from their hostels at the Sabon Gida community in Bugundu LGA of Zamfara State.
