Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has charged members of his cabinet to be more productive and committed towards achieving the administration’s set objectives for sustainable growth and development of the state.

The governor gave the charge during the opening session of the State Executive Council meeting in Bauchi, Northeast Nigeria.
The Executive Council meeting featured the swearing-in of key state and local government officials, including the Commissioner for Higher Education and Regional Integration, Hadiza Abdulkadir, Jumai Abubakar as Chairperson of the Bauchi State Independent Electoral Commission, and Iliya Sale, who was sworn in as Chairman of Dambam Local Government Area, among others.
Immediately after the inauguration, the State Executive Council meeting commenced, where the governor urged cabinet members to redouble their efforts and remain dedicated to achieving the administration’s developmental agenda, in their respective ministries, departments and agencies, for effective service delivery, and good governance.

Governor Mohammed also commended the council members for their contributions to the success of the recently concluded Bauchi State International Investment Summit, which he said, has placed the state on the global map for economic growth and prosperity.
The governor further appreciated the people of Bauchi State for their continuous support, particularly in the successful creation and appointment of additional emirates and chiefdoms, across the state.
