It is about five months since Nigerian rapper and songwriter, Ilerioluwa Aloba popularly known as MohBad died at age 28 on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 in Lagos State, South-West Nigeria.
Since his suspicious death, which is still being investigated by relevant security and health authorities there have been several complicated stories surrounding the singer’s painful exit.
Surprising is the recent allegation by MohBad’s mother, Abosede Aloba during an Instagram live session where she claimed that her ex-husband, Joseph Aloba is not the biological father of the deceased singer.
Abosede who spoke in her local dialect, Yoruba language confronted and rained abuses on a blogger whom she accused of supporting Joseph Aloba’s pursuit of the hashtag #JusticeForMohBad; saying her late son’s burial has been delayed for so long.
In the audio conversation, Mohbad’s mother criticised her ex-husband’s demand for a DNA test to be carried out within three days to prove Mohbad’s true paternity.
